Clergy Stole for Creation: Butterflies in the Garden, Clergy Purple Stole

Bright flowers and butterflies pop off a background that begins as light turquoise at the shoulder and darkens to navy blue at the hemline. The butterflies in the sky and higher branches of the tree are small, and the ones near the bottom are almost 4" wide. This would be a wonderful stole to celebrate creation or the coming of spring.

On the reverse, several shades of purple are speckled with dots of turquoise. Purple stoles are traditionally worn during Lent (the weeks before Easter), and sometimes during Advent (the weeks before Christmas).

Lavender fringe compliments both fabrics.

This clergy stole is ready to ship. It measures about 44" from the back of the neck to the bottom of the fringe and is approximately 4" wide (that's narrower and shorter than many stoles). The neck is curved and slightly narrowed so that it fits neatly.

All my stoles are carefully tailored with firm interfacing (the same kind found in expensive jackets and coats) so that they hang straight and hold their shape. They are fully reversible — with no tags or labels to get in the way.
