–LISTINGS

DESCRIPTIONS. We do our best to provide accurate descriptions of all items.

CONDITION. We sell antique and vintage items. We disclose imperfections to the best of our ability in the description and/or in the photos for each listing. Note that vintage and antique items have been "used" and will show wear from age. VINTAGE ITEMS ARE RARELY IN BRAND NEW, PRISTINE CONDITION! Items may have discoloration, fading, evidence of use, and yes, maybe some dust, dirt or grime. We do try to clean items without damaging them. Each item we sell is sold in AS IS condition. Wear, aging, and imperfections are part of the charm of buying items from the past. It is the buyer’s responsibility to examine each photo and ask questions if necessary!

PHOTOGRAPHY. We are NOT professional photographers, but we do try to color-correct the photos and make the colors as accurate as we possibly can. We try our best to feature all sides of an item, so please do examine the photos closely.

FUNCTION. Please use your best judgment in using antique and vintage items. For example, some vintage items sold from our shop are intended for decoration ONLY – for example, toys or games for children – they probably do not meet today’s standards and may be considered dangerous for small children. However, some vintage items, such as books, dinnerware, and kitchenware are meant to be used and enjoyed!

QUESTIONS. Please look at all photos carefully and be sure to ask any questions and/or request additional photos. We want you to be delighted with your purchase!

–PAYMENT

We accept payments are made through Shoppy such as credit cards, Shoppy gift cards, and Klarna. The latter offers extended layaway terms as well.

We are more than happy to reserve an item for you but we ask that you make payment within 24 hours of reserving the item. If we do not hear from you within that timeframe, we will un-reserve the item. We are more than happy to work with you if you need more time, but we ask that you communicate with us.

— SHIPPING

FREE VS. PAID SHIPPING. We try our best to offer free shipping when we can; if we offer free shipping, we get to choose the shipping method. However, when shipping is not included, we try to accurately represent shipping costs in our listings. Also, generally speaking, we do offer free shipping if your order totals $35 or more; we try to mark eligible items accordingly. This policy does not apply to heavy or large items (for example, furniture).

COMBINED SHIPPING. If you buy more than one item from us, we do try to combine shipping when possible. Please contact me prior to purchase for an accurate shipping estimate.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. International sales are welcomed. Please contact me with your location for a shipping estimate.

PACKAGING AND INSURANCE. We do take great care in packaging and shipping items, especially fragile items. We do occasionally purchase insurance for highly fragile items, but there is no guarantee we will do so if we believe there is little risk of damage during shipment. If you would like to buy insurance for your item, please contact me BEFORE checking out.

We use new or recycled, clean boxes and packing materials.

WHEN WE BOX AND SHIP. We try our best to ship smaller items within 3-5 days. Large, heavy, multiple, or bulky items may take longer to ship UNLESS you contact us prior to your purchase to request faster shipment. We will try to accommodate all requests for expedited shipping.

We generally ship small items via USPS Parcel Post. Larger items are shipped the best, least expensive way possible (for example, United Parcel Service, Federal Express Ground, or uShip).

Local pickup is also always available for larger, heavier, bulkier items.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING. We can offer expedited shipping – for example, priority overnight vs. ground. However, please contact us in advance for the additional cost, if applicable.

–RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Generally, we do not offer returns or refunds. (This is a standard practice at any antique store or estate sale that you will ever visit in person.)

However, customer satisfaction is our utmost priority, so if you feel that you deserve a refund, please contact us within two (2) calendar days of receiving your item and describe the reason(s) why you should receive a refund. If your request is granted, you will be given a full refund. You will be required to return the item to us, and the refund will be granted when we receive the item back in the same condition as when it was shipped.
