The Crown or Chaplet of the Holy Face was composed by Servant of God, Sister Marie Saint-Pierre, who was a Discalced Carmelite nun of Tours, France. Its purpose is to honor the 5 Wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to ask of God, by the Face of His well-beloved Son, the triumph of His Holy Church. It also offers reparation for all the sufferings which our Lord has endured in his Face through each of the senses.

• This listing is for a handmade Chaplet of the Holy Face of Jesus. It is wire strung on flexible and durable beading wire which includes semi precious gemstones and other components. Recipient would receive a chaplet like the one pictured, which comes with a drawstring gift bag and a mini booklet with prayer instructions. The chaplet is sent nicely packaged in a box, which could be used for gift giving.

• Components used throughout the chaplet include: Black Obsidian and Gray Jasper gemstones; strong stainless steel jump rings, brass crimp beads; glass seed beads; silver toned bead caps and spacer beads; Sterling Silver crimp bead covers and wire guardians; highly flexible and durable beading wire.

• The religious medals are silver tone, and are imported from Italy.

HOW TO PRAY THE CHAPLET OF THE HOLY FACE OF JESUS

Beginning with the cross:
1) ♱ “In the name of the Father, and of
the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O God, incline unto my aid. O Lord, make haste to help me.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.”

In honor of the sense of touch:
2 a) Pray on the large bead above the cross:
“My Jesus, Mercy.” Then pray a Glory Be.

2 b) Next go to the first set of 6 beads after the center.
On each small bead pray: “Arise, O Lord! And let Thy enemies
be scattered, and let them that hate Thee flee from before Thy Face.”

In honor of the sense of hearing:
3) Large bead: “My Jesus, Mercy.” Then pray a Glory Be.
On each small bead pray: “Arise, O Lord! And let Thy enemies
be scattered, and let them that hate Thee flee from before Thy Face.”

In honor of the sense of sight:
4) Large bead: “My Jesus, Mercy.” Then pray a Glory Be.
On each small bead pray: “Arise, O Lord! And let Thy enemies
be scattered, and let them that hate Thee flee from before Thy Face.”

In honor of the sense of smell:
5) Large bead: “My Jesus, Mercy.” Then pray a Glory Be.
On each small bead pray: “Arise, O Lord! And let Thy enemies
be scattered, and let them that hate Thee flee from before Thy Face.”

In honor of the sense of taste:
6) Large bead: “My Jesus, Mercy.” Then pray a Glory Be.
On each small bead pray: “Arise, O Lord! And let Thy enemies
be scattered, and let them that hate Thee flee from before Thy Face.”

To honor all the Wounds of His Adorable Face:
7) On the last large bead below the center:
“My Jesus, Mercy.” Then pray a Glory Be.
On the 3 small beads pray: “Arise, O Lord! And let Thy enemies
be scattered, and let them that hate Thee flee from before Thy Face.”

In honor of Jesus’s 7 last words upon the Cross
and for the 7 Sorrows of the Immaculate Virgin:
8) On the cross, recite the Glory Be prayer 7 times.

9) Conclude by saying on the ‘Holy Face of Jesus’ medal:
“God our protector, look down upon us and cast thine eyes upon the Face of thy Christ.
