Materials: Brass and Mica Brooder Lamp, galvanized
Wonderful brooder lamp of galvanized metal with brass lamp parts. Round mica window and is marked Waterbury Conn. on the wick adjusters. Two wick lamp, thumb screws both turn, one wick is missing. Chimney is hinged and tips off for lighting. I believe these would have been used the first part of the 20th century. Lantern is in good vintage condition. There are solder repairs on the upper lip. See last photo. Mica is intact. Small amount of grim and corrosion throughout. Lamp measures 10" X 7" (not including handle). Cute primitive display.
