Add a heavy duty, UL approved medium base (E26) weatherproof bulb socket to your Steampunk or industrial pipe lamp project with this high quality part. An industrial grade black malleable iron fitting houses the socket (rated for up to 250V/660W). Available in a straight coupling fitting, or a 90º reducing elbow fitting – with 1/2", 3/4", or 1" mount size. Wire leads are 14AWG and are approx. 5-1/2" in length (about 4-1/2" on the 90º elbow fittings). Please note that although the socket itself is rated as weatherproof, the iron fittings that they are housed in are not coated or treated with weatherproofing, and they can therefore rust if exposed to rain or moisture.

This listing is for the iron fitting with bulb socket only – bulbs are not included. Photos of finished lamps are for example only and are not included.

These socket assemblies are heavy; each weighing approx. 10 to 14 ounces (depending on fitting size), so please see the note below regarding shipping costs if ordering more than 1 of these. Thank you for your understanding.

A NOTE ON SHIPPING COSTS:
As of this writing, Shoppy still hasn't figured out a way to charge a certain amount for the "first" item (which includes the packing materials like the box and stuff), and a lower amount for "each additional item". So if you are ordering more than one of these sockets, Shoppy will most likely overestimate the shipping cost (sometimes by a LOT!). I promise I will refund any significant overages, and ship these in a flat-rate box whenever it makes the most sense. Even larger (domestic) orders usually don't exceed a final shipping cost of around $15 to $25, so don't panic if you see a very high shipping cost – I promise I will help you out when I can!
