Add a high quality, UL-approved candelabra base (E12) bulb socket to your Steampunk or industrial pipe lighting project with this exclusive part. An E12 (candelabra base) 125VAC socket rated for up to 75W is permanently mounted in an industrial grade black malleable iron coupling. Available with a 1/2", 3/4", or 1" mount size (socket end is 1"). Great for smaller projects (like robot lamps) where you might want a smaller socket and bulb than medium base (E26). The polarized 18AWG white wire leads are approx. 15" long. Longer lead lengths available through custom order (at a slightly higher cost).

The threaded collar with shade ring allows you to easily add a shade that has a 1.1" (28mm) diameter opening. Even small items like pencil cups, drinking glasses, or flower pots can be used as a shade, as long as they have a 1.1" (28mm) hole. Please note that some shades may have a specific size or shape that may make the shade ring more difficult or even impossible to attach, in some cases.

These particular sockets are not compatible with glass insulators, but don't worry – if you want to mount a glass insulator to your industrial pipe lighting project, I have the perfect part for that:
