Artisan silk bow tie made from fine vintage Japanese silk small scale paisley floral design woven in subtle gold & wine red with adjustable necktie and clasp, special occassion, event, wedding, gift, groom

This un used vintage silk from Japan dating from the 1970's is simply stunning.
Woven in the ikat way of dying each silk accordingly and threading onto the loom so that once it's woven this beautiful little paisley floral design appears like magic!
The silk reflects and changes with the light adding that touch of interest.
With a sliding adjustable necktie that clips hidden behind the collar.
I put a lot of work and care into making this bow tie, starting with starching to give the bow structure. Then lots of ironing, folding and sewing followed by hand sewing to finish to hide any threads.
Perfect for the special occassion, event, wedding, graduation or gift.
Optional coordinting silk pocket square available approx 29x29cm
Bow comes in a lovely navy blue box with a card explaining the silks origin.
