An Art Deco era collar stud in rich warm 9ct yellow/rose gold. Hallmarked “OP” for Owen Powell of Northampton Street, Birmingham. His gold maker’s mark usage indicates it was made circa 1930 – 1937. There is a little age-related wear but still in very good condition.
The visible front measures 3/16th" / 5mm in diameter and the flat back plate measures approximately 7/16th" / 10.5mm in diameter. It stands approximately ⅜" / 8.5mm in height and weighs approximately 0.6 grams.
