MINIATURE ANRI MADONNA STATUE FIGURINE
Beautiful tiny carved wood Mary Madonna Catholic figure. She has a crown of roses on her head and has the Immaculate Heart depicted on her chest. She is holding lily flowers in one hand. The roses stand for joy and the lilies for purity. Beautifully hand colored. Crafted in Italy by Anri. The bottom is marked "©ANRI". This is a small piece but still has the amazing detail that Anri is known for. This piece is in wonderful vintage condition. Would make a lovely display. The Anri company, founded by Anton Riffeser in 1912 in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Northern Italy, is world-renowned for its hand carved and hand painted figurines. Anton Riffeser named the company Anri using the first two letters of his first and last name. The figurines are carved using only the best wood species such as maple, lime tree, linden wood, alpine pine, ash tree, and pear tree. Only after stringent quality controls, the Anri figures receive the quality seal. The Immaculate Heart of Mary is a devotional name used to refer to the interior life of the Blessed Virgin.
