Adorable Vintage Teddy Bear – "Clara", by Travelin' Tompkins, Fancy Fall Jacket and Skirt, Suede Suitcase, Original Paperwork

This is an adorable long legged teddy bear. Ready to travel with her suitcase in hand. On the other hand, is her original paperwork – which reads "Passport – Travelin' Tompkins" on the front.

She is a large doll, and can lay flat or be perched in an upright position. She is wearing tweedy textured skirt with patches and a black bow. Underneath her skirt is a cream eyelet edged slip.
Her jacket is houndstooth plain in olive green, rust and black on a cream background, with buttons up the front. She has a black bow near her ear.

One of her tags shows she is from 1996, and her passport says 1997.
She is in very good condition, no stains or wear, and would be a lovely gift or an addition to a collection. She has a really country/cottage chic look!

Here's the story from her passport:
"Welcome to Mint Hill, where everyone's a neighbor and a friend!
All the citizens of Mint Hill were inspired by my grandmother, Nanna. I was forever fascinated by all the glorious treasures treasures I'd find in her attic. Toys were not plentiful in those days so the adored bear that Nanna's mother had lovingly hand sewn for her had a very special place in Nanna's heart. Knowing how I cherished old things, her Lizzy bear was passed on to me.

Clara, a dear aunt of Lizzy, is a world traveler with lots of places to go and people to see! With a sense of adventure and a fun-loving spirit, Clara packed her bags on a whim and left her down-home country neighbors in Mint Hill to visit many countries near and far. Lizzy always admired her energenic aunt Clara, who would share wonderful stories from her travels with all of her friends and family back home. As Lizzy eagerly awaited her aunt's return, she would make a special teddy bear representing the country from each of Clara's adventures.

In England, Clara enjoyed the sights and sounds of London, from the ringing of the Big Ben clock to the hustle and bustle around Trafalgar Square. Then Clara – not to be shy – met some jolly ol' chaps for a spot of tea! During her trip, she felt like royalty, even if she didn't get to curtsey for the Queen!"
