Copper plate monoprint with chine collé. Techniques include engraving, drypoint& carborundum.
Image size is 7.5cm wide x 9cm high. Paper size is larger. Unframed.
It will be posted using an acid free, archival white backing board and an archival Crystal clear bag.
*What is Chine Collé?
Chine collé roughly translates from French as Chine = China, referring to thin paper imported from the Far é, meaning stuck on with glue ( I use acid free glue designed for artwork)
Chine Collé is thin (usually coloured) paper sandwiched between the printing paper and the printed is bonded to the printing paper during the printing process, and is integral to the print.
