This colorful butterfly mobile is designed to bring joy and favorable vibrations to your home. It will add a positive Feng Shui element to your living space. Hang it from your ceiling or up against a wall. Either way it is sure to please.

Butterflies are favorite subjects of my artwork. In nature Butterflies are created by transformation. They must give up who they are as caterpillars in order to become the beautiful butterfly. As such, they are positive symbols of change and a sign that anything is possible.
They are perfect gifts for those who are facing or recovering from a changing life event. A positive symbol for success and healing.

This mobile consists of one beautiful butterfly that hangs from a beaded clear fishing line. There is wire stitched inside the wings so it can be gently posed to your liking. The hanging loop on its back can also be gently bent to “pose” the butterfly. This butterfly will move slightly in a breeze due to the tiny brass swivel at the hook end. Or you can hang it and pose it with ithe butterfly wings against a wall. I also supply an extra piece of nylon taped to the tag to use if you want to add length when you hang it.

This butterfly is my original pattern and hand made exclusively by me, so each creation is unique and has its own personality.

Dimensions: This butterfly hangs approximately 24 inches from top hook to the bottom of the ribbons. Butterfly is approcimately 8 inches wide by 7 inches.

A lot of work goes into making these. Each butterfly is made of beautiful cotton Designer Batik cotton print fabrics and lined with polyester interfacing. Wings are wired for support and are free form machine quilted. Hanger is clear nylon embellished with glass beads.

If using in a small child’s room please make sure it is out of reach from children who are small enough to put things in their mouths due to the small beads used on the hanging nylon string.

Flaws, frayed edges, nontraditional stitching, and Batik material irregularities are intentional parts of the design.

All fabric will fade in direct sunlight after a period of time so I do not recommend hanging in a sunlight window.

Note: It is impossible to photograph creations made with fabrics and have them show perfectly on various computer monitors and with different light bulbs, so colors will not be absolutely the same as the picture, but I do attempt to make them as close as possible, and I photograph in different light sources to give an idea of how they might look. Every item in my shop is handmade one at a time by me and therefore each will be similar but unique. Also, a majority of my creations use batik cottons which by their nature vary in pattern and color. These are high quality fabrics that in many cases are nicer "in person" than the picture.
