70s Paper Log Roller in cast iron with a wooden handle at the top.
Insert newspaper sheets into the open slot of the roller and keep rolling the sheets to the desired size. Tie the roll together for future kindling to start a fire in your wood burning stove or fireplace. A fun activity for children, or use as a decorative fireplace accessory.

The handle juts out about 5.25" from the side. The hand crank handle is attached to the inside roller and is removable may be used on either side for right or left-handedness.
The inside measurement is 16.5" L and 4" W.
Looks similar to those manufactured by Christen Inc. in St. Louis, MO, but there is no marking on it.
