These soap dishes are may standard size – 2.75" x 4" x .75"

Poplar wood is a fast growing sustainable hardwood that grows in abundance here in North American, and it performs exceptionally well with water and moisture exposure. Poplar wood varies in color from white cream to light minty green as depicted in both extremes in the second picture.
red alder is a lighter weight wood very similar in density to poplar. Alder has a beautiful red wood grain very similar in color to cherry wood.
