18×12 Couroc Tray Starburst Motif Inlaid Wood and Brass • Vintage MCM Large Rectangular Simple Abstract • Handcrafted in Monterey, Calif.

Vintage "Starburst" Couroc of Monterey tray crafted of inlaid wood and brass. Large rectangular serving tray has a large stylized wooden star motif in the center, outlined by polished gold brass. Finish is glossy black phenolic resin and tray has a raised outer rim & dimple feet. Reverse bears the original foil Couroc label and a second sticker with the design, "Starburst."

This tray is in very nice condition and would be a fantastic drink or appetizer server for your next home party!

Couroc opened in Monterey, California in 1948 and employed local artists to design these fabulous original trays which were sold in exclusive, high-end stores. The company closed in 1998. Resin trays are very durable and were each carefully crafted by hand – so no two are exactly alike!
