Handcrafted Wood Beer Tap Handle made with Maple Burl
Materials: Maple Burl, Threaded Insert
I made this tap handle from a gorgeous piece of Maple Burl. The lace in the grain is crazy and the different brown tones throughout the piece really catch your eye.
Burled woods tend to be quite soft, so this wood has been stabilized to make it harder. The finish is several coats of clear, gloss lacquer.
To attach to your faucet, there is a 3/8" x 16tpi threaded insert that will fit nearly all standard faucets.
I have included a picture attached to a faucet so you can see how it will look. The faucet is not included.
Overall length is approximately 3-5/8" and the diameter at the largest point is approx. 1-3/8".
If you like the wood but not the shape, design your own handle and I will make it for you!
I make each piece one at a time, no duplicators, no fancy machines, just my imagination to create something beautiful and one of a kind.
