1980s Milan, Italy Postcard Featuring Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper, UNESCO Santa Maria delle Grazie, Unposted, 15th Century Mural

Circa 1980s, this Italian postcard features Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper in Milano, Italy. One of UNESCO's World Heritage sites, the mural painting can be found in the refectory of the Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie. The 15th century masterpiece is admired daily from visitors around the world. More fragile than fresco, Leonardo painted using a dry technique which caused the loss of pigment soon after it was completed. Preservation and restoration are a constant undertaking with the help of modern technology. This postcard is unposted, and measures approximately 6" wide X 4" tall. It's in good vintage condition.
