An unusual blue and white earthenware vase by Minton. On the underneath it has the Minton mark dating it to between 1873 and 1912 but is also marked 'Nevers', the French Faience Pottery company. It is also marked 'Manufactured for Morlocks of Oxford Street, London.
I have researched and have been unable to find any information regarding a collaboration between Minton and Nevers or a Minton pattern called Nevers.
The vase may be part of a wash set.
It is in very good condition with three small areas of damage; please see photos.
