Vintage French Copper and Iron Firewood Log Holder Basket Hand Made & Beaten

A beautiful rustic copper French vintage firewood or log holder from the early to mid 19th century. This gorgeous piece of history is hand made, the iron handle and feet have been hammered and forged by hand. The copper is hand beaten also and has been stamped into the underside of the copper by its maker. The handle swivels perfectly. It is in excellent vintage condition with some slight rusting on the iron and the beautiful yet subtle patina of numerous, accumulated years. The perfect decoration for your fireplace! C'est Chic!

Dimensions: The firewood holder is 48.5 cm long, 30 cm wide and stands 23 cm high with the handle folded down. It weighs just over 3 kg.
