Lightly fragrant blooms with heirloom peony appearance.
Sweetly fragrant 2–4" wide double blooms show off all the colors of spring. Color deepens to pale pink with soft yellow flames as the flowers open and mature. White buds with green flames open to reveal a yellow center. As the blooms mature the soft pink color develops and the green flames transition to a soft yellow. Bulbs do not come pre-chilled.

Does not naturalize/perennialize readily (see growing information for instruction on promoting and caring for perennial plantings)
Grows best in Zones 3–7. Plant in fall for spring blooms.

SOWING:
Bulbs should be planted soon after arrival (or immediately after pre-chilling) and when the soil has cooled to 55°F (13°C) or cooler, and nighttime temperatures consistently drop to 40–50°F (4–10°C) but before the ground freezes. Planting about 5-6 weeks before the ground freezes allows the bulbs sufficient time for root development.
