Hi, I'm Nomi and I'm Milo. We're twin eight year-olds starting our first business. We hand picked and hand dipped (with dad's help) pinecone fire starters. We wanted to find a good use for all the pine cones here in Denver so we are recycling them and turning them into gifts for you, your family and your friends. Each Pinecone has a twine wick running through it and is double dipped in 100% beeswax. Based on our home tests with dad, burn times vary between 8-14 minutes depending on wood type and kindling. There are no artificial colors or scents so everyone can enjoy them and keep the planet greener.

You can displayed these in baskets, bowls, and a tray to make your house more welcoming. To use, place the pinecone fire started in with your kindling in your fireplace, wood burning stove, campfire, or outdoor fire pit. But make sure an adult handles the fire and only use them in appropriate fire locations.

After the fire is out and the wax is hardened, please remove the wax from fireplace, fire pit, or stove. Please dispose of the wax in an appropriate way, or feel free to recycle it!

We have made a lot of pine cone fire starters but if there is a lot of demand it may take up to a week for us to make more. Please be patient.
