Bird Mouth Bowl – Good Fortune and Prosperity

This live edge “bird mouth bowl” was hand turned and finished in our shop along the Skagit River in the North Cascades in the Pacific Northwest. This particular bowl is small and compact with a tight grain on the live edge.

Dimensions: ~3” across and ~2.50” tall

Fun fact – if there is a bird lover in your midst: these bowls are named for how they resemble a baby bird’s open mouth when looking down into the bowl. This design of bowl is also associated with good luck and prosperity.

This is not a food safe bowl, but it is the perfect bowl for holding a wide array of things from keys to buttons to rings.
