vintage 1930s blouse/jacket, a piece from the later part of the decade

➡ the base of the piece is double layers of black silk mesh
➡ the entire piece is covered with rose pink glass beaded swirls, finished with tiny gold gelatin sequins
➡ subtly peaked shoulders, with stiff pleated header to ensure the shape (this will peak much more with an arm in there!)
➡ scalloped swooped cuffs
➡ hidden snaps up the front
➡ weighted hem – definitely a high-quality piece

garment is shown unpinned on my 34"/25"/36" form, for reference. this looks great in pics, but is meant for smaller.

condition: a beautiful piece, of very high quality. some small flaws, priced accordingly! the beading under the arms has faded into a lighter pink + the gelatin sequins are missing here. there's a hole in the internal layer of mesh under one arm — the outside layer is totally fine. see pics!
