Vintage Small Stand Colander, Blue, Silver Rims, Little Enameled Metal Footed Fruit, Vegetable, Berries Strainer, Handles, Pedestal Base

Description

Nice little enamel-coated metal colander or strainer, a rich blue color with sturdy construction and a pedestal stand or base. Good for bathing delicate berries or draining smaller amounts of pasta or steamed veggies, this is one of those crucial kitchen items constantly in use. It's also really pretty, a lovely cornflower or steel blue shade with silver side handles, and silver outer rims on both bowl and base. I'm not sure who the maker is, because there are no remaining marks or labels on it.

It's in good vintage condition, showing some dulling or wear to the finish in the inside, but very clean and intact otherwise. Nothing major, still quite attractive and usable.

Measures approximately 8 1/2" wide from handle to handle, and about 6 1/4" in diameter in the bowl section. It's about 3 1/2" tall.
