A Mauviel copper saucepan, or 'casserole russe' in French, with a brass handle, three copper rivets, and a shiny, clean tin lining. This copper saucepan has a 6.25 inch (16cm) diameter, sidewalls that are 3.25 inches (8cm) tall, and is 12.25 inches (31cm) long when including the handle. This saucepan has 1.8 mm thick sidewalls and weighs 2 pounds 2 ounces (960 grams).
This copper saucepan has a single stamp to the left of the handle that reads "Mauviel Made in France." Mauviel is a well renown copper maker that traces back to the mid-19th century, also making copper cookware for brands like Williams-Sonoma. I've included links below that provide additional information on the Mauviel stamp but based off the style and design of it, this copper saucepan was likely made around 2000.
This is a used item and it does have some minor wear on it, such as scratches, but those are only cosmetic. With a clean tin lining, this copper saucepan is ready for use in one's kitchen!
