Flower Fairies Tea Set Reutters German Porcelain in Original Box

Lovely, delicate toy-ish tea set ready for a fairy garden party. Beautiful German porcelain in bright white, gold trim, with the most adorable fairies garnishing each piece (no fairies on saucers). One tiny teapot, with sugar and creamer, four cups and saucers, four snack plates, and of course four spoons to stir the lemon and honey into your tea. All these delightful pieces are tucked securely inside a calico print mini case with carrying handle, complete with tatted lace.

The porcelain serving set is in impeccable condition with nary a scratch or chip, decorated with four different garden fairies in their lavish environment. Sweet and very nicely made, this set could be a cherished addition to any child's dreamworld…all that is needed is an imagination and maybe a few cookies!

The case, although it closes and "locks", needs to be re-glued in areas and the backbone of the lid needs attention, it still closes and the fabric that holds the two sections is secure. The fabric is in nice condition, as is the closure, and some glue and a few clamps will go a long way to almost perfect this set. Not perfect (the case), yet flawless (the porcelain), this set is (almost) ready to make a little girl very happy. It is lovely and the fairies are quaint and thought inspiring, a pretend day waiting to happen! Dated (2006) and marked on back of some pieces.

The case is about 11" x 9" x 4"
The snack plates are about 3-7/8", the teapot is just over 4" tall with lid, sugar is about 2-3/4" tall with lid, and the creamer is about 2" tall. The little saucers are just over 3-1/8" across and the cute little cups are about 1-1/4" tall.
