Vintage Mueller's Recipes Metal Box – Commemorates XIII Olympic Winter Games Lake Placid 1980 – Blue – White – Red – Divider Tabs – Pastas

This is a neat vintage metal recipe box made by Mueller's, the company known for its Pasta. It was made to commemorate the 1980's Winter Olympics in Lake Placid.

The colors of the box mimic the blue and white packaging of Mueller's pasta products. There are the names of various types of pasta surrounding the bottom half of the box, and include: spaghetti, elbows, macaroli, linguine, egg noodles, sea-shells, rigatoni, vermicelli and linguine to name several.

Inside the box there are four index divider tabs that help to sort your pasta recipes by noodle type. The cards also include a recipe printed on the front. It's cute how the recipe names play on the Olympic theme:

Gold-medal surprise (macaroni)

Closed, the box measures 5.25 x 3.25 x 3 inches. The box is in good vintage condition with no dents and the graphics are still vivid.
