Vintage Clay City Indiana Pottery Blue Raised White Trim 8.5" Ceramic Pie Plate Baking Dish #8

Wonderful addition to a farmhouse, country, cottage, vintage or any kind of kitchen decor this is a ceramic pie baking dish in blue with a raised pattern on the rim in natural clay color. Stamped with "8" to denote the original item number. From Clay City Pottery in Indiana, USA. This looks to me like stoneware but there is no indication of material found on actual item.

Nicely deep to allow for plenty of filling! Though intended as a baking dish, this would also be a very useful serving bowl for sides.

8.5" diameter
1.5" depth
2" height

Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition with no known flaws or damage. Vintage and pre-owned items may have slight imperfections or signs of light use. Anything major that compromises the value or integrity of the piece will be listed.
